Time is closing in.

Leroy Sane’s contract at Bayern Munich runs out at the end of the month, and Arsenal have put their intent in writing according to  Caught Offside report. A formal offer sits on the table, tempting the 29-year-old back to the Premier League.

Bayern want to keep him, Fenerbahce are offering rich terms, but Sane’s preference—quietly but clearly—is Arsenal. The only gap is financial.

For now, Bayern plan to take him to the United States for the Club World Cup, a sign that the door to a short extension is still ajar. His performances there could shift the summer market. For Arsenal, patience could be costly.

Sane is no gamble. Titles with Manchester City. Four Bundesliga crowns with Bayern. A winger who knows the grind of winning.

In a squad brimming with youth but short on champions, his voice in the dressing room could weigh as heavily as his runs down the flank.

Mikel Arteta knows exactly where he fits. Left wing, where he once thrived under Pep Guardiola. As a number 10, slicing through the middle. Even on the right, stretching the pitch.

Martinelli and Trossard offer energy and skill, but Sane’s combination of pace, precision, and experience tilts games in a way Arsenal still lack.

The Gunners are chasing margins. Sane offers them. The kind that make contenders into winners. The kind that turn close calls into trophies.

Now, it’s a waiting game—one Arsenal can’t afford to play for too long.
