Arsenal are enjoying one of their strongest campaigns under Mikel Arteta, reaching the Champions League semi-finals after knocking out reigning champions Real Madrid.

However, despite their progress in Europe, the Gunners look set to narrowly miss out on the Premier League title to Liverpool.

Determined to push further next season, Arsenal are lining up several summer reinforcements. In addition to their pursuit of a new striker, Football London reports the North London club are weighing up a bold move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembélé.

Since joining PSG from Barcelona two years ago, Dembélé has rediscovered his best form, overcoming past injury setbacks. The 27-year-old has been in sensational shape this season, netting 32 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions as Luis Enrique’s side chases a historic treble.

His ability to operate on either wing or through the middle — thanks to his rare two-footed ability — would make him a versatile addition to Arteta’s squad.

However, a transfer appears unlikely. PSG value Dembélé highly and are known for setting steep price tags on key players, as seen with Kylian Mbappé and Neymar. The French international is also thriving in Paris and appears content with life at his hometown club.

Barring a dramatic turn of events, both Dembélé and PSG are expected to continue their successful partnership beyond the summer, leaving Arsenal to focus their efforts elsewhere in the transfer market.
