Celtic lit up Paradise with a commanding 3-1 victory over Hibernian, shaking off the frustration of their recent draw with the Ibrox side.

The afternoon marked the return of Kasper Schmeichel, who hadn’t featured since picking up an injury on international duty.

His presence was felt immediately, producing a stunning stop in the 20th minute and adding more fine saves as the match wore on. Sinisalo, unlucky to miss out, has been promised the start in midweek—a sign once again of Brendan Rodgers’ deft touch in managing talent.

The Hoops controlled the opening exchanges, weaving crisp passes and dictating the tempo. Yet their dominance lacked an end product, and Hibs struck first in the 25th minute—clinical from their limited chances.

It was a reminder of football’s simple truth: fail to convert, and you leave the door open.

That goal jolted Celtic into action. Just before the break, Nicolas Kühn fired home a brilliant equaliser after tormenting the Hibs defence all half. Moments later, Kühn turned provider, lifting a perfect ball over the backline for Adam Idah to finish coolly for 2-1.

After the restart, Celtic’s grip only tightened. Their pressing was relentless, their movement sharp. In the 58th minute, Reo Hatate capped it off with a spectacular third—an exquisite strike from the box-to-box maestro whose energy and vision dominated the pitch.

From there, it was pure show.

With Aberdeen away next and St Mirren to close the league, Celtic eye the Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen on May 24—a Treble within reach.
