Brendan Rodgers didn’t need a microphone to make his thoughts known.

His furious outburst after Dundee’s third goal was loud enough in body language alone.

At Dens Park, the champions saw their authority ripped apart. Dundee came from behind twice before Aaron Donnelly’s late header seemed to seal a famous win.

Luke McCowan, against his old club, had opened the scoring after just five minutes, only for Oluwaseun Adewumi to curl in a stunning leveller on the break before halftime.

Celtic reclaimed control when Yang converted from close range early in the second half, but once more the hosts struck back. Josh Mulligan’s cross diverted off Cameron Carter-Vickers and beyond Kasper Schmeichel.

The momentum swung, and Rodgers’ side looked rattled. Then came Donnelly’s towering finish from a corner with a quarter of an hour to go—Auston Trusty beaten far too easily in the air.

The camera cut instantly to Rodgers, who could be seen mouthing his blunt assessment: “weak as p***.” It was raw honesty, and it echoed the frustration of supporters who watched their team stumble.

Trusty endured a torrid evening, physically dominated when it mattered most, and Celtic looked on the verge of their first loss at Dens Park in 37 years.

Yet football rarely follows the script. In stoppage time, Mohamed Sylla blocked Kuhn’s strike with an outstretched arm, and from the spot Arne Engels kept his composure to snatch a 3-3 draw. Relief for the visitors—but hardly satisfaction.

Celtic’s position at the top is secure, but complacency has crept in.

Rodgers knows his side cannot afford to carry the softness on show here. Something has to change.
