Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with the representatives of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic over a possible January transfer, according to Calciomercato.

The Gunners are currently short in attack following key injuries. Bukayo Saka is sidelined until at least March, while Gabriel Jesus could be ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee problem.

Mikel Arteta has stressed the need for reinforcements, and Vlahovic has quickly emerged as a prime target.

The 24-year-old Serbian forward is under contract with Juventus until June 2026 but has yet to commit to fresh terms.

With his deal running down, the Bianconeri are reportedly open to his departure for a fee in the region of £42–£51 million, provided they have time to secure a replacement.

Vlahovic, who turned down Arsenal three years ago in favour of Juventus, according to Football London, has enjoyed a more consistent campaign under Thiago Motta, scoring 12 goals in 24 appearances so far.

Arsenal, however, may prefer to pursue a loan move with an option to buy—allowing them to test his suitability in the Premier League before committing long-term.

It remains uncertain whether Juventus would agree to such terms, with the Italian giants likely to push for a conditional obligation to buy.

Still, Arteta’s admiration for the striker could see Arsenal make a decisive move in the coming weeks.
