He knows where he wants to be.

Benjamin Šeško, the 21-year-old Slovenian forward making waves at RB Leipzig, is leaning heavily towards Arsenal—despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

Šeško’s camp has maintained frequent contact with Arsenal, and the striker is “favouring a move” to North London over rival offers.

The groundwork was laid last summer.

Arsenal were early admirers, tracking him closely before he signed a contract extension at Leipzig.

That deal, however, included a £56 million release clause and a mutual understanding he’d be allowed to leave in 2025 according to The Standard reports.

And now, it seems, that door is open.

Sesko scored 15 goals and delivered 4 assists last season—numbers that turned heads across Europe.

But it’s more than output. He’s mobile. He’s intelligent. He presses with intensity. Arsenal see him not just as a goalscorer but as a system player. The type Mikel Arteta builds around as reported by Football365.

Chelsea and Manchester United want him too—but face steeper odds.

United’s Champions League hopes are all but over. Chelsea are still a work in progress, and their frontline already includes Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku.

In contrast, Arsenal offer stability, structure, and minutes. Real minutes.

For Sesko, it’s about trajectory. Arsenal’s project is real. Title fights, Champions League nights, a young core.

At 21, he needs a place to grow—without being benched behind veterans.

A significant bid is expected soon. Arsenal could negotiate below the £55 million release clause or trigger it outright to fast-track personal terms.

Either way, they’re in pole position—and they know it.
