Arsenal set to battle Spurs and Newcastle for Fiorentina star Moise Kean

Arsenal are reportedly in the mix to sign in-form Fiorentina striker Moise Kean, as they look to bolster their attacking options ahead of next season.

According to Italian outlet TuttoJuve, the Gunners are one of several Premier League clubs eyeing the 25-year-old forward, who has enjoyed a standout campaign in Serie A.

Kean, who began his career at Juventus, made history as the youngest player to debut for the club and the first born in the 2000s to feature in the Champions League.

After underwhelming loan stints at Paris Saint-Germain and Everton, he failed to cement a place at Juventus and eventually made a permanent move to Fiorentina last summer.

Since joining La Viola, Kean has hit top form—scoring 22 goals and providing three assists across all competitions this season.

Although Kean still has four years remaining on his contract, Fiorentina are reportedly unwilling to let him leave easily. However, TuttoJuve notes that the club could consider a sale if his €52 million (£44m) release clause is met—an amount Arsenal are believed to be willing to pay.

Since Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s 22-goal Premier League season in 2018/19, the Gunners have struggled to find a consistent goalscorer. While players like Alexandre Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz have all contributed, none have managed to replicate Aubameyang’s prolific form.

Moise Kean’s combination of strength, speed, and dribbling ability could make him an ideal fit for the Premier League, and Arsenal hope he can make an immediate impact should he return to the Premier League in North London.
