UOL says the line is open again. Arsenal are weighing a fresh run at Rodrygo, Real Madrid’s shape-shifting forward, as this wild window accelerates.

Edu and Arteta have already loaded the cart: Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Nørgaard—done. Noni Madueke is almost through the door for £52m. Still, the itch remains: add one more striker of fear.

Madrid’s stance is cold and clear. Rodrygo’s camp will sit down with the club, and the price hovers around £86m before add-ons.

He prefers the left, has lived on the right beside Vinícius, and under Xabi Alonso he even watched a Club World Cup tie from the bench in the States. Ambition nags. The Premier League calls. If England, he wants Arsenal.

The fit? Ruthless. More incision than Trossard, more final ball than Martinelli. Runs that puncture. Passes that punish. Goals that arrive on time.

But arithmetic bites. After Madueke, Arsenal are pushing for Sporting’s Viktor Gyökeres and admiring Eberechi Eze, who can slide from No.10 into the left lane. One spree rarely funds another. The maths is brutal.

Here’s the pace note: a deal happens only if a heavyweight departs. No exit, no Rodrygo. Simple.

If you’re Arsenal, you feel the pull—fantasy and purpose in one signing. If you’re Madrid, you guard depth for another nine-month siege.

And if you’re the Emirates crowd, you can see it: white shirt, red sleeves, the Brazilian cutting inside while the clock quickens.

Hurry? Maybe. Sensible? Also maybe. In July, suspense sells, while the offer lasts.
