Celtic have revealed their line-up for today’s Scottish Cup semi-final showdown with St Johnstone at Hampden Park as reported on Celtsarehere, with a place in next month’s final against Aberdeen the prize at stake.

Brendan Rodgers has opted for a familiar shape with some key choices. In defense, Alistair Johnston and Greg Taylor patrol the flanks, while Cameron Carter-Vickers joins Liam Scales at the heart of the back line.

Captain Callum McGregor sits in his usual holding role in midfield, supported by Reo Hatate and Arne Engels, who will look to bring balance and energy to the engine room.

Out wide, James Forrest keeps his place, using his experience to stretch the opposition, while Daizen Maeda starts on the left, bringing relentless running and pressing. Adam Idah leads the attack, tasked with providing the cutting edge in front of goal.

On the bench, Rodgers has Bain, Trusty, Jota, Kuhn, McCowan, Schlupp, Bernardo, and Ralston in reserve — offering a range of options to alter the contest if required.

This tie carries added tension after St Johnstone stunned Celtic 1-0 in the league only weeks ago. That setback still lingers, and the Hoops know they cannot afford a repeat with silverware now so close.

Aberdeen are already waiting in the final after their victory over Hearts on Saturday. The prospect of a Hampden clash for the trophy gives Rodgers’ men every reason to sharpen their focus and ensure progression.
