Celtic fans launch Easter charity drive

The Green Brigade have unveiled their newest community effort ahead of Saturday’s Premiership clash with Kilmarnock, encouraging Celtic supporters to donate Easter Eggs for local youngsters and provide support for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital charity.

Through their North Curve X account, the group invited fans to drop off contributions—Easter Eggs, along with arts and crafts supplies—at Area 111 outside Celtic Park before kick-off. Cash donations are also welcomed, ensuring multiple ways for fans to get involved.

“This year, we’re gathering Easter Eggs for children who rely on local foodbanks,” the message explained. “We’re also asking for arts and crafts items to be passed on to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital charity.

All contributions can be delivered at Area 111. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.”

The safe standing section has become a heartbeat of Celtic Park, known for its noise, colour, and passion.

Beyond the chants and banners, their commitment to local causes has earned admiration across Scotland. In many ways, they mirror Celtic’s original foundations as a club born from charity.

On the pitch, Saturday could carry huge weight in the title race. Celtic sit just six points from clinching the Premiership crown with six fixtures left. A victory over Kilmarnock, coupled with Rangers dropping points at Aberdeen on Sunday, could seal another league triumph.

But for all the focus on trophies, the call to action is clear—supporters are being asked to bring joy to children in need this Easter. For Celtic, community remains as vital as the football itself.
