Celtic one step from fourth straight title

Celtic stand on the brink of history. A single point at Tannadice this afternoon will be enough to seal their fourth successive Scottish Premiership crown.

Brendan Rodgers’ men travel to face Dundee United knowing the arithmetic is simple: avoid defeat, and the job is officially done. With a commanding 15-point cushion at the summit and only five games left, the Hoops’ grip on the trophy looks unshakable.

It has been a season of dominance. Celtic arrive in Tayside on the back of blistering form, thrashing Kilmarnock 5-1 before dismantling St Johnstone 5-0 at Hampden to secure a Scottish Cup final clash with Aberdeen.

A potential treble looms large, but Rodgers has been firm—complacency is not an option. Standards must hold until the very end.

Beyond silverware, there is also personal history in play. James Forrest could cement his place as the most decorated player in Celtic’s storied history should the title be clinched today.

For a one-club man whose career has spanned eras, it would be a landmark achievement to match the team’s relentless pursuit of glory.

Celtic’s starting XI at Tannadice reflects strength and intent: Sinisalo between the posts; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, and Taylor forming the back line; McGregor anchoring with Engels and Hatate; and a front trio of Kuhn, Maeda, and Jota providing the firepower.

Kick-off comes at 12.30pm, with Sky Sports carrying the match live.

A single point stands between the Hoops and their destiny.
