Celtic’s Scottish Cup journey continues with a semi-final clash against St Johnstone, set for Easter Sunday, April 20, at Hampden Park. Kick-off is scheduled for 3pm, and the match will be broadcast live on Premier Sports.

Brendan Rodgers’ men enter the tie chasing history. The League Cup is already secured, the league title is within touching distance, and the prospect of a domestic treble now feels very real.

By the time they face the Saints in Glasgow, Celtic may already have clinched the Premiership crown, with the two sides also meeting earlier in April.

St Johnstone, aware of the occasion, have agreed to hand Celtic supporters three stands at McDiarmid Park for that league fixture, offering an unusually large allocation for visiting fans.

Hampden will bring its own spectacle, even if an Easter Sunday date may not suit every supporter. A bank holiday weekend and a mid-afternoon start, however, should make the journey manageable for most.

The other semi-final sees Aberdeen face Hearts the previous day, Saturday April 19, with a 12:30pm kick-off.

The winners of both ties will progress to the Scottish Cup final, scheduled for May 24—the last chapter of the season and one steeped in tradition.

For Celtic, there is more than just silverware at stake. Rodgers has never lost in this competition, and retaining the trophy would underline his dominance in Scottish football.

With momentum on their side and dreams of another treble alive, the Hoops step onto Hampden’s turf not just with ambition, but with expectation.
