Liverpool enter race to sign Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi

Liverpool have reportedly joined the chase for Borussia Dortmund forward Karim Adeyemi, according to Italian outlet TuttoJuve, as competition intensifies among Europe’s elite for the talented German international.

The 22-year-old has been in outstanding form this season, tallying ten goal contributions across all competitions. His standout moment came in the UEFA Champions League, where he netted a first-half hat-trick against Celtic, a performance that turned plenty of heads.

Adeyemi’s exploits haven’t gone unnoticed at Anfield. The Reds are now said to be interested in bringing the dynamic attacker to Merseyside, though they’ll have to fend off interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain. Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is reportedly a big admirer of the Dortmund forward, while PSG are eyeing him as a potential partner for Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

While Juventus had previously shown interest in Adeyemi, a move to the Serie A side appears unlikely at this stage. Liverpool, on the other hand, are looking to strengthen their attacking options this summer, and Adeyemi fits the profile.

According to TuttoJuve, Dortmund are expected to demand a fee in the region of €50 million (£42m) — a price Liverpool may be willing to meet.

Under head coach Nuri Şahin, Adeyemi has been a key figure for Dortmund in both domestic and European competitions. His versatility across the front line and his explosive pace, agility, and strength make him well-suited to the Premier League.

New Liverpool boss Arne Slot could find Adeyemi’s ability to play anywhere across the front three especially valuable tactically. With the Reds keen to refresh their forward line, a move for Adeyemi could prove to be both timely and impactful.

As interest mounts, the race is now on to see which club can secure his signature first.
