Manchester United are reportedly preparing a double swoop for Ajax prospect Abdellah Ouazane and Sunderland forward Ryan One this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

An overhaul is expected at Old Trafford, with outgoings paving the way for new signings under Ruben Amorim. Alongside strengthening the senior squad, United are pushing forward with their youth-first strategy, targeting some of the most promising young talents around.

Club scouts were recently in Morocco to watch 17-year-old Ouazane in action at the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, where the midfielder impressed with his technical ability and composure.

United are also tracking 18-year-old Ryan One, a highly-rated Scotland U19 striker making his mark at Sunderland. However, Ipswich Town are keen to compete for his signature, viewing him as a possible alternative to £30m-rated Liam Delap, another forward on United’s shortlist.

While the focus on youth recruitment continues, United are also considering a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha, though his £62m price tag would require player sales to fund a deal.

Youth development remains central to INEOS’ vision for the club. Recent signings such as Pedro Leon (17), Sékou Koné (19), Ayden Heaven (18), and Chido Obi-Martin (17) underline United’s commitment to securing the best emerging talent.

If deals for Ouazane and One materialise, they would further cement United’s ambition to build one of the most exciting young squads in world football.
