Man Utd in talks to sign French wonderkid Enzo Kana-Biyik

Manchester United have opened talks with French club Le Havre over the signing of highly-rated teenage striker Enzo Kana-Biyik, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

With a major squad rebuild expected this summer, the Red Devils are not only targeting senior reinforcements but also focusing on securing elite young prospects who can develop into first-team stars.

Kana-Biyik, 18, has emerged as a priority, and United are exploring the best pathway for his development should a deal be completed.

While no agreement has been finalised, discussions are ongoing, with the France U18 international potentially heading to INEOS-owned Swiss side Lausanne on loan before joining up with United’s senior setup.

Since INEOS took over football operations, United have shifted their transfer strategy toward recruiting high-potential youth players rather than solely established names.

Recent additions such as Sekou Kone, Chido Obi-Martin, Ayden Heaven, Samuel Lusale, and James Overy reflect this long-term vision.

Kana-Biyik has been in fine form for Le Havre’s U19s, scoring 10 goals in 15 matches, and his performances have earned him two senior squad call-ups under coach Didier Digard.

A Lausanne loan would offer him valuable minutes at a competitive level before a full assessment for a potential first-team role at Old Trafford.
