Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United are quietly finding their rhythm. Since taking over from Erik ten Hag, the Portuguese coach has overseen three games—two wins and a draw—and tonight brings his biggest test yet: a trip to the Emirates to face title-chasing Arsenal.

A commanding 4-0 victory over Everton last weekend lifted United to ninth in the table with 19 points from 13 matches, narrowing the gap to fourth-placed Brighton to just four points.

Team situation
Injuries have been a recurring theme this season, but Amorim has a relatively clean slate for this clash. Victor Lindelof remains sidelined, and Jonny Evans hasn’t featured since the Ipswich game.

Luke Shaw has picked up a fresh knock and won’t travel. Suspensions hit hard too—Lisandro Martínez and Kobbie Mainoo are both banned after collecting their fifth yellow cards of the league campaign. There is some good news, though, as Leny Yoro is fit again and available.

Likely selection
Amorim has rotated heavily in his first three matches, so predicting his exact line-up is no easy task. Andre Onana should stay between the posts.

In defense, Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt are tipped to start, with Harry Maguire likely stepping in for the suspended Martínez. Yoro might be eased back from the bench.

Amad Diallo is expected to keep his spot at right wing-back after impressing, with Diogo Dalot on the left. Manuel Ugarte should come in for Mainoo, joining Bruno Fernandes in midfield, meaning Casemiro could again be left out. Mason Mount and Alejandro Garnacho are likely to operate behind the striker.

Rasmus Hojlund may return to lead the line, pushing Joshua Zirkzee—fresh from a brace—onto the bench.

Predicted XI: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire; Amad, Bruno, Ugarte, Dalot; Garnacho, Mount; Hojlund
