Time is moving fast.

Manchester United’s interest in Justin Kluivert isn’t new—it’s been simmering since his Eredivisie days. But now, with the 26-year-old coming off a season of 13 goals and eight assists, the chase has turned into a full-blown battle.

However, according to Caught Offside, Tottenham and Liverpool have entered the fray, each armed with scouts’ reports and intent. Bournemouth, though, aren’t ready to surrender one of their brightest.

His deal runs until 2028, and the Cherries have drawn a line in the sand: reportedly £47 million or nothing. Their position is strengthened by a summer already filled with exits—Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, Kepa Arrizabalaga to Arsenal, and Liverpool closing in on Milos Kerkez.

Other stars like Ilya Zabarnyi and Antoine Semenyo have already been eyed by Europe’s elite.

For United, Kluivert’s versatility—equally at home in the No.10 role or out wide—fits perfectly into Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system.

The club has already secured Matheus Cunha and is chasing Bryan Mbeumo, but Tottenham’s hiring of Mbeumo’s former boss, Thomas Frank, threatens to derail that pursuit.

That’s where Kluivert becomes more than a backup plan. He’s a statement—creative, direct, dangerous. Bayer Leverkusen also see him as the ideal replacement for Florian Wirtz, who is set to join Liverpool.

The competition is ruthless, and the window is shrinking.

For United, the decision is clear: act now or watch another target slip into rival hands.

And in this market, hesitation is defeat.
